Before you travel

Plan a smooth arrival

Hitgeheim carefully manages access to the reserve to protect guest privacy, safety and the tranquillity of the lodge.

Need an airport transfer?

Arrange transport directly with the reservations team. Transfers can be coordinated from Chief Dawid Stuurman Airport or an airport car-rental drop-off point.

Provide a working mobile number

Add it to your booking so the lodge can reach you with route or arrival updates.

Self-drive vehicles are welcome

The lodge roads accommodate a wide range of normal vehicle types.

No public transport or Uber access

Only authorised vehicles and transfers arranged through Hitgeheim may enter the property.
